About the experience
Travel back in time and try your hand at using a Mediaeval Longbow with this experience in Maldon, Essex. Starting with a 30 minute briefing and introduction, you will learn the basic skills needed to fire one of these huge bows used as far back as the 14th century. Aim and shoot at mediaeval themed targets set out at different distances and see how far you can progress during your taster session. - Shoot with a hand-crafted longbow made in-house
- All experiences include handmade longbows and arrows crafted by talented bowyers and fletchers. Equipment and necessary PPE is provided.
- You may form a group of up to 16 people
- This is an outdoor activity so please dress appropriately for the time of year and weather conditions. Be prepared to be exposed to the great British weather
- Spectators are welcome
Mediaeval Longbow Taster

- Learn correct stance for target and improve your consistency under our expert archers

Minimum Age: 8 years
