About the experience
Learn the thousands of year old skill of blacksmithing and forge a knife in a Full Day Knife Forging Workshop at a family run forge in Herefordshire. But before the forge is fired up you will be introduced to your blacksmith who will give you a briefing about the course and let you select which design you wish to make. You will be able to choose from a kitchen knife, hunting knife, bushcraft knife, re-enactment knife, fishing knife or a woodwork knife. The knife will not only look like a work of art, it will be completely practical and designed for everyday use once you take it home. During your 6 hour workshop you will learn the techniques and methods of forging a usable knife. Be warned this is a physically demanding day, but we think it's definitely worth the hard work.

- You will form part of a small group of up to 8 participants
- Knife Forging Workshop

- Experiences last around 6 hours
- A picnic lunch is available to purchase for an additional £8.50 payable when booking your date
Minimum Age: 18 years
- Weekdays and selected Saturdays throughout the year
- All dates are subject to availability
- Due to popularity please book well in advance to avoid disappointment, weekends especially get booked quickly
- Age 12 must be accompanied by an adult
- Not suitable for spectators
