About the experience

The River leam is a beautiful setting for a Kayak Taster Session. Learn the basics of the watersport from Experienced and qualified British Canoeing Instructors. After being welcomed, briefed and given all your kit, it will be time to get in the water. In your 2 hour session you will learn the essential skills to keep the right way up! The most important skills you will learn are how to balance and control the Kayak. Once you have the hang of how to paddle and steer, you will head up the river through the Victorian Gardens and up to the nature reserve. The trip up the river will be a calm and tranquil session, with plenty of time to work on your paddle strokes.
