About the experience
Children can spend a morning assisting the zoo keeping staff at Millets Farm in Oxfordshire with all the daily tasks as part of a special zoo keeper experience just for kids. Millets Farm is unique due to the fact that all of the residents you'll encounter are considered exotic species, with both reptiles and furry critters being represented. Ferrets, a lovely Meerkat family, two mischievous skunks named Renee and Pepe, a raccoon named Rocket, and more furry companions are among the group. Young zoo keepers participating in this event may also see them up close from inside their enclosure. In the scaly reptile corner of the farm- while enjoying the warmth - you'll come across a variety of creatures, including a Red Rump Tarantula, hissing cockroaches, iguanas, and rat snakes. With the zookeeper hosting the experience, kids will be able to ask all the questions they want and even be shown how to properly handle these amazing animals.
