About the experience

If you're up for an extreme adventure, quad biking in the northeast is just the thing for you! You'll encounter the Jungle Challenge and have to take on Mother Nature with your trusty quad bike. But be warned- it's not for the faint-hearted! You'll need to be courageous and strong to take on this challenge. The quad biking adventure takes place on the Matfen Hall estate, which is the nearest outdoor activity centre to Newcastle. You'll feel like you're in the heart of the wild, with acres of countryside to explore. Before you embark on your quad adventure, you'll get to practice in the training field, where you'll encounter the unique artificial forest. Once you've mastered that, you'll have some fun with a game of quad footer, which is a mix of football and an agility course. Then it's time to head into the jungle where you'll encounter mud, dirt, slopes, thick undergrowth, and deep water-filled ditches. It's so extreme that the team at Matfen Hall warns you'll likely get stuck at some point. You'll need to push, pull, or even tow your way out of sticky situations, and sometimes, you'll even have to use axes to deal with fallen trees. But don't worry, getting stuck is all part of the fun, and everyone will pitch in to help you get out.
