About the experience
It's time to accept the challenge and train to join the round table at our Jousting Experience in Warwickshire. Allow yourself to be immersed in the medieval surroundings and get into the spirit dressing in costume and armour. You will learn jousting on horseback and perfect your cavalry skills. Start your session by getting your own title and coat of arms so you are ready for battle. Learn the history of the sport in your briefing by an experienced team before you have a shot at Quintain, tilt rings and Pig Sticking. In the morning you will have the opportunity to learn sword choreography but don’t forget in the afternoon you will face the big Gauntlet challenge, where all you will learn is put to the test, if you pass you will earn your Knighthood.

Information
- Introduction to the history of jousting and safety briefing
- Dress in medieval costume and Armour and have your own title and coat of arms for the day
- Learn basic jousting skills
- Opportunity to learn a choreographed sword fight and longbow challenge
- Lunch break
- In the afternoon you are split into teams for the 'Gauntlet Challenge' where you will practice the mounted skills learnt
- Put all your skills to the test at the end of the day when you will try to unseat the Black Knight in a mini joust to gain your knighthood!
- Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear with a flat sole (no trainers) should be worn
- Participants should bring gloves and a change of clothes
Minimum Age: 16 years
- Selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year, with limited availability during the winter months
- Sessions start at 10am and finish at 5pm
- Suitable for novices and non-riders as well as those with experience
- A good, general level of fitness is required
- Spectators are welcome to come along and watch the action
- No dogs are allowed on site
- Minimum age 16
- Maximum weight 16 stone
