Why not try an activity such as Canyoning, which involves navigating a fast flowing body of water that may include activities such as abseiling, climbing, sliding and jumping. Not only is Powys in South Wales known for its changeable weather, but the Brecon Beacons where this Canyoning experience will take place, is the perfect landscape for exploring due to its rocky terrain, spectacular waterfalls and mountainous landscapes. It’s the perfect way to explore hard to reach areas under the safe provision of a trained professional who will be with you all the way. The great thing about this experience is the sheer volume of different routes available and the flexibility it brings. You can choose to be as adventurous as you like - whether it’s jumping into rock pools or from heights of 1 or 5 meters it’s really up to you. This is an ideal activity for embracing the rain as you will be provided with a wetsuit to keep you dry, alongside all the appropriate equipment to keep you safe. - Experiences take place in the Brecon Beacons at a river (exact location will be confirmed when you making your booking)
- Minimum age 10
- Under 18's must be accompanied by a participating adult
- A good level of fitness is required
Minimum Age: 10 years
- Shoes such as old trainers (wetsuit boots can be purchased for £25 payable direct on the day)
- Shorts to provide extra padding over your wetsuit
- Swimwear for under your wetsuit
- Towel
- Warm clothes
- Lunch if required
- Available weekdays and weekends throughout the year
- Experiences may be rescheduled due to safety reasons if water levels are too high
- Half day starts at 10.30am or 2.30pm
- Not suitable for spectators
