Seated in the cockpit of a state-of-the-art, full-motion F-18 simulator, you'll feel every twist, turn, and burst of acceleration - this is as close to the real deal as it gets. Your mission begins with a rapid take-off from a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, stationed in the vast expanse of the ocean. With enemy Su-57 fighter jets hot on your tail, you’ll need razor-sharp focus and precise flying to hit your target. Overview

  • 60 Minute Solo Full Motion F-18 Sim Session
  • Fly a realistic Top Gun Maverick Mission
  • Practice low-level flying and weapons
  • Launch from a US Navy carrier and drop bombs

    • One hour simulator session flying the missions as seen in 'Top Gun: Maverick'
    • Sessions are taken in a full-motion F-18 Hornet fighter jet simulator
    • Sim runs on a full motion platform, using commercial military software
    • Realistic visuals and flight controls
    • Session is split into two missions as you learn how to fly and fight at low levels (in the same locations used in the film)

    Mission 1:

    Fly the terrain and practice flying the aircraft, weapons deployment, high-speed canyon run without threats, inverted attack, escape, and landing on a landing strip.

    Mission 2:

    Launch off the air carrier, fly low level to avoid multiple SAM threats, bomb the target and escape whilst avoiding air-to-air threats. Rejoin the fleet anchored off the coast, and land on the carrier.

    • Up to 4 guests may wait in the lounge area during your session
    • Due to limited space in the sim hall only one standing spectator is permitted
    • Under 16s must be accompanied on site by an adult
    • Access to the sim is by climbing over the sides (just like a real aircraft)
    • Available weekdays and weekends throughout the year at Little Gransden Airfield, Sandy
    • Dates and session times are subject to availability
    • Minimum Age: 13 years

A totally amazing day. I was made welcome as soon as I arrived and put at ease before the introduction to the plane, where I was taken in depth through the controls and the mission ahead. The experience was exhilarating but enjoyable. I highly recommend to any Top gun fan, or plane enthusiast.

I bought the Maverick flight simulator for my husband and he thoroughly enjoyed it. He was doubtful he would be able to multitask on the controls but with the guidance from our host he did a great job which made the experience even more enjoyable. Its a great simulator experience that you cant match at home

The company running this were fantastic. They were friendly and well organised. The experience was great fun and although I had never flown or used a flight simulator before I was able to get to grips with the activity and fully participate.

Absolutely amazing experience. Closest thing to flying I can imagine. Crew were great. Was brilliant to fly the same mission as in the Maverick film too. Booking was super simple. Would definitely book again.
