About the experience
This peaceful and most floral of experiences will see you embark on a four hour Flower Arranging Course in the pretty and historic Staffordshire village of Tutbury, the ideal place from which to learn the fine art of floristry and create a beautiful bouquet of fresh, sweet smelling flowers. Run from a family run florist in the heart of Tutbury, Tina and her creative team will welcome you warmly upon your arrival. The course is run in quite a relaxed and fun atmosphere, and you’ll be placed into a small group of six, so you can be assured of plenty of hands-on time if your fingers are green! You’ll watch a demonstration of three flower arrangements of different levels of difficulty, to drum up some creative inspiration. But don’t worry, there’ll be opportunities to ask questions as and when they arise. This is good because you can gain valuable insight and tips and tricks that only the most experienced florists know. Following a break for light refreshments, you’ll then have the chance to create your own stunning arrangement of flowers. You can either follow one of the earlier examples you were shown, or if you’ve got more of an artistic flair you can go with the flow and arrange your own wonderful display. The creative team will be happy to assist you and help you get the most out of your floral arrangements, using fresh cut flowers and foliage - and best of all, you can take it home and display your colourful posy with pride as a reminder of your experience that’s full of flower power!
