About the experience
Two awesome drift cars go head to head - the Mazda MX-5 NB and the BMW E90. Drifting is the "dark art" of Motorsport and once you nail the technique you'll be hooked. The instructors are bonkers and after your sighting laps, of them will be taking you for a sideways high speed ride to get your juices flowing. If you haven't fled the venue at this point you'll enjoy drifting both cars yourself (4 laps each) around the street-derived course at Bovingdon Circuit. Getting back in your own car for the journey home is going to feel very boring!
12 Laps Experience
Drift Training - a mixture of classroom and in-car instruction:
- 30 minute briefing covering drift lines, throttle/braking technique and safety on track
- 4 x sighting laps including a 'Sideways' high-speed passenger ride in a BMW E90 Drift Taxi (instructor driving)
Drifting- Your turn at the wheel! 'Run the wall' and drift around the ultimate street-derived course featuring a series of 'Japanese Zen Garden' Roundabouts:
- 4 x drift laps in the Mazda MX-5 NB
- 4 x drift laps in the BMW E90 Drift Taxi
Upgrades - You can upgrade to:

Information
Vouchers are valid for 10 months from the date of purchase. Saturday dates can be booked for an upgrade fee. You can upgrade the validity when you order.
- Full Manual UK or International drivers license is required to partake in this experience
- You will need to present the license on the day, photocopies will not be accepted
- You must be physically fit with no serious health conditions
- Glasses must be worn if necessary
- Flat soled shoes must be worn
- Helmets are supplied at the venue
- If you wish to book a weekend date you must pay a surcharge per driver
- When ordering a voucher or booking a date for Bovingdon Experiences you also agree to the additional Bovingdon Terms and Conditions
- Boost upgrade available on the day for £19, subject to availability and weather conditions

Selected weekday dates from January - December. Weekends run on selected Saturdays but require a surcharge to book (unless prepaid). Saturdays get booked up quickly so it's likely that only the early morning slots will be available unless you book well in advance.
Optional Damage Liability Reductions (ODLR) can be purchased on the day from £25. Without ODLR, drivers will be liable to pay the full insurance excess on any vehicle they damage.
In the instance of severe weather such as Snow, ice or dense fog your event may get cancelled and you will be offered an alternative date for your experience. Please refer to the events teams terms and conditions.
