About the experience

Discover an exclusive blacksmith experience in Huddersfield! Immerse yourself in a full day at Owen's village forge, where you'll learn the art of crafting beautiful hand-made creations using heat and metal. Owen, a skilled blacksmith with a background in Industrial and Graphic Design, has dedicated himself to the craft full-time. His work, mainly the outdoor cooking range and kitchen knife collection, seamlessly blends practicality and artistry, making him a sought-after artisan. During your exclusive blacksmith experience, Owen will tailor the teaching to your preferences. You can learn about the basic tools and techniques, including firing up the forges, before delving into the traditional methods of forging metal. While heating and shaping metal requires hard work, the reward of creating something with your own hands is immensely satisfying. The piece you create will be a cherished memento of your time at Owen's Huddersfield workshop.
