About the experience
Are you a wildlife enthusiast? Do you feel drawn to the beauty and majesty of birds of prey? If so, we have an experience that will take your breath away! Join us on Birds of Prey Photography Day at a conservation and education centre near Abingdon in Oxfordshire. All day long, you will have the opportunity to photograph over 90 different birds of prey. Our skilled staff will be on hand to assist you in capturing perfect shots of these magnificent creatures, whether it is a simple portrait or an in-flight image. These falconers are incredibly dedicated, knowledgeable and passionate about their work. You will see for yourself just how well-trained these raptors are. They love being the centre of attention and easily pose for the camera, making them incredibly photogenic. Imagine capturing the steely blue eyes of an Eagle Owl, or a Falcon flying over water with its own reflection. You could even capture that split-second moment the wings of a Hawk flap before take-off. So, why not grab your camera and head down to Oxfordshire for a truly unforgettable experience? We can just imagine a beautiful shot of your favourite raptor that you took yourself, hanging proudly as a canvas over the sofa.

Information
- Spectators are welcome to visit the centre during normal opening times (10am onwards), subject to the usual entry fee
- They will be able to see the participant at various times but are not permitted to accompany them for the session
- Minimum age 14, under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult
- Suitable outdoor clothing should be worn with sensible footwear

Minimum Age: 14 years
- This event does not run if there are less than 5 attendees, in the unlikely event the day is undersubscribed it will be rescheduled
- The Farm Centre boasts a local produce shop, zoo, play area, garden centre, craft gallery, pick your own and restaurants on site
- Please note that no photography tuition is provided on this day
- Selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year, with around three sessions per month
- Sessions generally start at 9 am finishing around 3 pm
