Axe Throwing Session - Norfolk
About the experience
Are you ready for an exhilarating outdoor adventure? Come to Norfolk and experience the thrill of axe throwing! Just a short distance from Kings Lynn, this outdoor centre offers a safe and competitive environment to learn the art of axe throwing. Axe throwing is a popular recreational activity and competitive sport that has surged in popularity in recent years. Unleash your inner lumberjack and learn how to handle and throw axes of various sizes. The centre's covered, all-weather, multi-target throwing arena has five lanes that can accommodate up to 10 people at once. Your expert host will teach you everything you need to know about axe throwing, including how to hold, handle, and release the axe, as well as stance and throwing techniques. The axe throwing experience begins with custom-designed Throwing Angels, followed by classic Norse Viking Tomahawk axes and the biggest of them all, the Double-bit axe. Once you've mastered the basic techniques, your coach will teach you advanced throwing techniques to increase your aim and precision. The experience ends with a mini ‘Mountain Man' competition, in which you compete against other participants and throw axes at ringed targets for points. Bonus points are awarded for hitting the ‘killshots,' which have two blue high-level dots.
