About the experience
At this outdoor recreation facility close to Market Harborough, you'll get thorough instruction on how to make your axe throws "stick". Let's find out if you have what it takes to be a master axe thrower! The most crucial part of your programme begins with a safety briefing so that everyone can stay safe in the activity areas. It's time to begin practising with the Angel Axes once you're outside. These axes resemble a hybrid of an axe and a knife. They have a handle and a point like a knife, as well as side blades like an axe, and are quite compact. The term "Angel Axe" derives from the shape's resemblance to wings. They are perfect for developing confidence in aspiring axe throwers. And there's more, because as this is a special combination session, you'll also get to try your hand at air rifle shooting. You'll get a total of 30 shots to have a go on, to see if you can hit your target within a 25 metre range. And as with the axe throwing, you'll also get supplied with coaching and all gear and equipment!
- Learn to throw Angel and Norse Tomahawk axes
- Hosted by an outdoor centre near Market Harborough
- Coaching to get your axes to 'stick' in the wood
- One hour axe throwing session
- Tuition from an experienced instructor to learn the basics of axe throwing
- Practice throwing the training 'Angel' axes
- Once confident you will progress to the Norse tomahawks, taking aim at the log targets
- You will form part of a group of up to 12 participants
Axe and Rifle Combo
- In addition to the axe throwing you will also receive a rifle shooting session
- Take aim and fire 30 shots at targets on a 25 metre range
- Sessions last between 1 ½ - 2 hours for this experience

- Minimum age 12
- Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating or spectating adult
- A minimum of two vouchers must be purchased for the combo session
- Spectators are welcome to watch
