They're small and lightweight but still require skill to throw accurately. With practice, you'll be able to hear the satisfying "thud" as the axe embeds itself in the target. For a more challenging experience, try the Swedish double-headed throwing axe. These axes were originally used in North America as forest axes, but have been modified for competitive throwing. They're heavier than the Tomahawks, but are designed to rotate nicely in the air before hitting the target. As part of your session, you might also learn how to throw knives. You'll be shown how to grip the blade and how to properly throw the knife towards the target. With a little practice, you'll be landing your knives in the target with ease.
