Archery and Air Rifle Combo - Brighton
About the experience
Looking for a fun activity to try out in Brighton? Why not add archery to your day out at the seaside? Located just north of the city centre near the A27, this outdoor archery centre is suitable for beginners and is a great place for families, friends, stags and hens to have some fun. The surrounding countryside is absolutely stunning, and you'll be shooting arrows on the farmlands at the foot of the green grass ridge beyond. The owner of the centre, Gary, is passionate about archery and loves watching guests have fun in the archery area. With some training from the coaches, you'll be amazed at how much you'll improve in just one archery session. All tutors accompanying these small group taster sessions are GNAS trained, which means they are archery enthusiasts and excellent teachers. They will explain the rules and regulations and cover basic golden rules to help you become a tip-top archer. You'll learn about stance, holding the bow, gripping the riser, drawing the bow and release techniques. Once you've mastered these techniques, you'll be well on your way to becoming a pro at archery. Safety is paramount in archery, and all safety rules will be explained before you head out to the range. You'll be trying out traditional target archery in Brighton where you aim at circular targets between 80 and 100ft away (just like they do in the Olympics!).
