Giraffes are some of the most-loved wild safari animals, with their long neck and legs, their gorgeous coat patterns and distinctive fur, plus their ability to navigate hard to reach areas of trees for food and water. However, as more of mainland Africa gets turned over for agricultural use, the environment and thus the survival of these beautiful and majestic creatures are sadly under threat, with their natural habitat at risk of being destroyed altogether - in fact, current estimates suggest the giraffe population has declined from anywhere between 40 - 80% in the last 15 years.
