Abseiling Experience - Aberfeldy
About the experience
If you're seeking an exciting outdoor adventure in Scotland, look no further than Aberfeldy, where you can go abseiling! This activity center is located halfway between Loch Lomond and Cairngorms national parks, and is nestled by the River Tay. With numerous crags and rock faces to conquer, it's an excellent spot for abseiling. As part of a small group, you'll spend two to three hours learning the art of abseiling, which is essential for rock climbing, a popular hobby in Scotland. Abseiling involves descending a rock face using ropes. To ensure your safety, you'll be provided with the necessary equipment, including a helmet, a harness around your thighs and waist, and a belay device attached to the rope. The belay device enables you to smoothly feed the rope through as you descend, using friction to prevent you from speeding off into the unknown!
