Live out your shooting dreams with this 50 clay experience based at one of the biggest clubs in the country near Worthing. Right in the heart of the South Downs, this centre boasts a huge expanse of crop fields and forests, giving you plenty of scope to shoot up some targets and enjoy some well needed time outdoors. Whether you’re a bit of a pro or a complete beginner, this taster session can be tailored to all abilities with 12, 20 Bore of 410 shotguns available and expert instructors on hand who know how to make a session tricker or easier by adapting target styles. You’re definitely in luck if you find yourself in this area, or it’s close to home as it’s considered a CPSA (Clay Pigeon Shooting Association) premier site with a variety of traps and high quality coaching on offer. If you’ve ever wanted to try clay pigeon shooting, this is the place to do it. With suitability for youngsters of 10, it would make the ideal family activity or a fun way to let off some steam with a group of friends. Rest assured, all you need to bring with you on the day is yourself and a bit of enthusiasm as all the protective equipment is provided. Information
- Findon, West Sussex near Worthing
- All abilities may shoot at this gun club
- Minimum age for clay shooting is 10 years old and 16 years old for the shotgun
- Participants must be strong enough to hold a gun firmly
- Suitable outdoor comfortable clothing and footwear should be worn
Minimum Age: 12 years
- Spectators are very welcome free of charge
- Guests may view the shooting in action but must stay within the areas designated by the instructors
- Under 16s must be fully supervised at all times
- Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead
- This activity takes place from Wednesdays to Sundays throughout the year by prior arrangement
- There is a cafeteria where hot and cold refreshments may be purchased
