5 Seater 30 Minute Helicopter Lesson - Leominster
About the experience
Looking for a thrilling helicopter experience? Look no further than Shobdon Aerodrome in Herefordshire! Whether you're interested in a 30 or 60 minute lesson in a two or five-seater aircraft, this long-established helicopter training school just west of Leominster is the perfect place to start. But why, you might ask? Well, for one thing, Shobdon Aerodrome is run by owner Alan Ramsden, who has been offering helicopter lessons in Herefordshire since 1992. His story is an inspiring one: after gaining his Private Pilot's Licence and flying light aircraft for some time, he took a five-minute helicopter flight in a 206 Bell Jetranger at Shobdon Aerodrome that changed his life. He went on to sell his business, move to the USA, retrain on helicopters and become a helicopter pilot and instructor. If you book a helicopter flight at Shobdon Airfield, you'll benefit from the extensive knowledge and experience of the pilot instructors. Plus, you'll get to enjoy the stunning backdrop of Leominster and the beautiful Hereford countryside while you're up in the air!
