Overview

  • Drive a 44-ton DAF truck
  • Based at Dunsfold Circuit in Surrey
  • Hosted by an award winning driver training school
  • Drave around the track in the truck

    • 45 Minute truck driving experience in a DAF truck at Dunsfold Aerodrome
    • You will be taught on a 1:1 basis by a qualified instructor
    • Experience begins with a warm 15 minute welcome, introduction, safety briefing and demo drive
    • A Minimum of 25 minutes drive time with up to two reversing manoeuxres and one lap of the airfield
    • Spectators are more than welcome to watch however must stay in their vehicle whilst on the reversing area
    • A driving licence is not required
    • Available selected weekends throughout the year
    • Dates and session times are subject to availability and weather conditions

    Please note: Due to popularity, this experience is fully booked at the weekends up until October 2025

Was OK once we got started but the organisers didnt welcome us and clearly thought we shouldnt be there. It took multiple phone calls to get us into Dunsfold and then into the artic ..

Really loved this experience. Ive done some similar things before where the experience ends up being for a very limited time, but this one was a full 45 minutes of driving around Dunsfold which you might recognise from the good old days of Top Gear and a few manoeuvres thrown in for good measure.Instructor Dan was great very welcoming and calm for someone supervising a complete novice. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great experience. Everything worked well and it was easy to make the booking. The truck was huge but surprisingly easy to manoeuvre although reversing needed a lot of concentration. The trainer was friendly and helpful.

This was a LOT of fun minimal prep talk and maximum driving time. Andy was a terrific coach and we drove pretty much all over Dunsfold Aerodrome amongst live traffic thoroughly recommended many thanks

A really good experience on what are effectively public roads to give a true feeling of driving a large truck with traffic also on the roads. Instruction was clear and precise.
