About the experience
This is one helicopter sightseeing tour to which you’ll be saying “Eee by gum!” as you take off and up into the sky over God’s own country - North Yorkshire! This 30 minute aerial tour takes flight from Elvington Airfield, a former RAF air base for Halifax bombers that played a key role during the Battle of the Ruhr. It’s situated just outside York itself, and it’s towards this historic cathedral city that you’ll be heading off to to take in its many stunning landmarks from a birds eye view, including the Minster, York Cathedral, Clifford’s Tower, The Shambles, The Transport Museum and the National Railway Museum. If you live by the mantra around these parts that “If it's not in Yorkshire, it's not worth visiting”, then this Yorkshire helicopter tour will affirm that!

All passengers will be weighed before flight and if disparity exists between weight disclosed and actual weight (within reason), the passenger may be illegible to fly

Please note that the maximum weight limit for the Co Pilot Seat on a helicopter pleasure flight varies depending on aircraft and other operational considerations (subject to availability upgrade payable direct)
If as a party of one you weigh in excess of 15 stone, you may still be able to fly however you will need to purchase an additional seat. This seat will either have to remain unoccupied or can be occupied by an individual as long as the combined total as listed above is not exceeded
