Taking off from North Denes Airfield, the site opening in 1950 was the ideal base for off-shore aircraft operations, primarily helicopters which began flying from the fixed wing in 1965. Our flight operator has a small vintage collection of Tiger Moths, among which the late 1940 model reigns supreme for this unique experience. Complementing this iconic aircraft are another 1940 Moth and a rare 1935 variant, all housed at Yarmouth. - Under 18s must always be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
- Maximum weight limit is 18 stone/112.31 kg
- Minimum hight 4ft 11ins, Maximum 6ft 7ins
- You must be agile enough to climb in and out of the cockpit
- Flying season is late April to the end of October
- Flights operate Monday to Thursday with one weekend day per week
- Flying hours are 10:30-16:00
- Flights are weather dependent, if your flight is unfortunately cancelled you can rebook at your next available opportunity
