Led by Chief Flying Instructor, Gordon Douglas, our team at East Fortune Airfield guarantees a warm Scottish welcome. With Douglas's expertise dating back to 1980, ours is Scotland's longest established microlight club, starting its journey in 1989. Start your adventure with a friendly hello at the clubhouse, then meet your instructor and head to the hangar to meet your microlight. Picture it like a trike attached to a hang glider, with an open cockpit letting you soak in that fresh Scottish air. As you soar above East Fortune's patchwork fields, everything seems to slow down, even though you're moving at a fair clip. It's a peaceful, surreal experience.
