Fly high above Berkshire in one of these iconic warbirds and immerse yourself in a nostalgic flying lesson from a bygone era. The Harvard is known by many names, the most notable being "The Pilot Maker" due to its role in preparing USAF pilots for combat. It was a classroom for the pilots, having trained several hundred thousand over 25 years. Operating out of White Waltham Airfield, home to the West London Aero Club. This specific Harvard was built in 1942 as a Spitfire by Noorduyn Aviation in Montreal, Quebec, being utilised at No.6 Service Flying Training School for the RCAF. Following its service, the Harvard was decommissioned in 1946 and subsequently relocated to Sweden for retirement. After Undergoing extensive restoration upon its arrival in the UK in 2016, including a fresh coat of its RAF livery, the Harvard is now in pristine condition and ready for action, just when it was when it took its first flight. This 30-minute flight will give you an experience like no other, so reserve your spot now!

  • If you have the confidence, ask your pilot to demonstrate some aerobatic manoeuvres during the flight

  • A warm welcome and pre-flight briefing, as well as a post-flight briefing
