25 Clay Shooting Lesson - Devonshire
About the experience
With views of the Devonshire country stretching for miles into the distance and the opportunity to have individual tuition on how to handle a gun and shoot, who would say no to this 25 Clay Shooting Lesson? This extensive two hour session is perfect for beginners or those who need a little refresher, as the instructors are on hand to take you through all the basics of gun handling and safety, and eventually show you how to hit that magic bullseye shot. Surrounded by the glorious Ashcombe country estate you are in the perfect spot to learn how to shoot, due to the wide expanses of land and clear views you get for miles. Once you’ve gone through the basics with an expert, the instructor will load the cartridge ready for your first attempt. The weight of the gun and the ricocheting across the hills takes some getting used to at first, but we’re more than certain that this adrenaline activity will keep bringing you back for more. Another unique aspect of this experience is the use of Parker clay pigeon traps, which are nifty releasers because they imitate the flight of an array of birds, not just pigeons. You may even find yourself coming into contact with the flight paths of ducks, game birds or pheasants throughout your lesson. Like with most sports, a bit of friendly competition can never go amiss. At the end of your lesson, there will be the chance to find the best shot of the day as you put all your hard learned skills to practise.
