If learning how to fly has always been on your bucket list, why not start with this 30 minute lesson in a 2 seater Cessna 152 aircraft over the rolling Peterborough countryside? This Conington-based flying school is home to a host of expert flying instructors who are keen to get people into the air and learn how to fly. The Cessna aircraft you’ll be learning in is a well known brilliant learner plane in the aviation world and you’ll be getting to grips with the controls in no time as you take to the skies. Before you step onboard, you’ll be receiving a full pre flight safety briefing before taking the plunge. Not only will you be enjoying the thrills of learning how to fly in this lesson, but be able to appreciate its long aviation history. Peterborough Business Airfield was originally used as RAF Glatton back in the early 1940s and the 457th Bombardment Group flew 237 missions and 7086 sorties during the course of World War Two. If you’re a history nut who has always wanted to learn how to fly, we can’t think of a more ideal experience. As you step on board, you’ll become part of a team of enthusiastic flyers who will make you feel completely at home.
