15 Minute Gyrocopter Flight from Rochester Airport, Kent
About the experience
Fancy taking to the skies in a one of a kind non conventional Gyrocopter? Combining the best of helicopters and fixed wing planes, these nifty little vehicles get you floating through the skies by relying on aerodynamic force after the engine provides an initial boost. Listen to the gentle hum of the rotator blades as you burn through the skies, and experience the strangeness of no engine noise as you take in your surroundings over Rochester in Kent. You’ll soon find yourself lost with the rhythmic noise of the rotator blades and the feel of the breeze on your face, as this is an open cockpit flight. Despite this flight only being 15 minutes, there’s plenty of time to take the controls should you be feeling in an adventurous mood as you’ll be provided with all the equipment for the flight including a fetching flying suit and helmet whilst being in the loop with radio control. Experience the thrills of autorotation as the wind propels the rotor blades to spin as you sit back and enjoy the views. If you’re keen to fly in a unique flight in a vehicle whose history dates back to 1919, this is the ideal experience for you. Whether this is your first trip to the skies, or one of many, our knowledgeable pilots are more than happy to tailor the flight to your level of experience and how much you want to control the Gyrocopter through the skies.
