About the experience

These parkour lessons are led by Kyle Perkins, a leading parkouring athlete, and will have you jumping, climbing, and busting some impressive urban moves! You'll learn all the classic parkour moves during these exclusive one-to-one free running classes. Parkour was pioneered by Frenchman David Belle and combined with free-running creator Sebastien Foucan, it has taken hold globally, with the 'traceurs' (parkourers) practising their freestyle gymnastics all over the world. This discipline, initially developed from military obstacle course training, has now become popular worldwide, with carefully choreographed free-running chase scenes in several Hollywood action films. Not only is parkour an exciting way to overcome obstacles, but it also exercises almost every muscle in your body, strengthening your core and improving your cardio. Participating in a one-to-one parkour training session will give you a different perspective on the usual inner-city landscape. For instance, a park bench is no longer for sitting but rather an obstacle to leap over - two feet first! The beauty of parkour is that all you need is your own legs and a decent pair of shoes - no expensive equipment required to begin free running!
