About the experience
Get introduced to the thrills and excitement of going off grid with your own personal 1:1, one hour tuition session in a 4x4 Off Road Land Rover Defender. You will be going on this exciting taster session at this 4x4 off roader centre at Rockingham Castle, based near Corby in Northamptonshire, who have been running these experiences for many years, led by their owner and the main instructor at the centre, Vince. He has a great level of past experience with driving four wheel drive vehicles in all manner of situations and environments, no matter how challenging, so you can be assured you're learning from the best. On your one hour session, you'll be learning and mastering the basics of driving a four wheel drive Land Rover Defender 110, off grid in the countryside surrounding Rockingham Castle, as well as getting accustomed to standard off road driving conditions - crossing ditches, tackling side slopes and driving through deep troughs of mud and water and tackling steep gradients on downhill slopes at angles of 40 degrees! So for those looking to start driving off road in the Midlands, this place - and this experience - is where to begin!

Information
- Drivers must be over 18 and have a full, valid driving licence
- Passengers must be aged 6 and up
- Up to two guests (minimum age 6) can travel in the car as a passenger, guests with a licence may also share the driving
- There's a fee of £10 per guest on taster sessions
- All guests must be booked in with 4x4 operator and paid for on the day
Minimum Age: 6 years
- Experiences are available throughout the year
One Hour Session
- Monday - Saturday
- Sessions generally operate from 16:00pm - 17:00pm
- Other timings may be available upon request
- Please bring suitable outdoor clothes and wear sturdy boots in case of mud
