Soar high above the breathtaking scenery of historic Bath during this exhilarating 10-minute Microlighting adventure. Take the controls of your own flex or fixed-wing microlight with expert guidance from our fantastic instructor, Brad, at the picturesque Brown Shutters Farm Airfield. Brown Shutters was created in 1988 when Eric Newbigin, an ex-Fleet Arm pilot, began operating his Tiger Moth from the site. Over the years, the field has become a home for numerous aircraft, mainly Microlights. Further down the line, local pilot Andy Greenwell arrived at Brown Shutters, becoming the driving force behind the regeneration of the airfield, which included building a second runway in 2016. Brad, offering both fixed and flex-wing experiences, delights in introducing curious newcomers to the sport. The fixed high-wing Cyclone AX2000 boasts side-by-side seating, a central control stick, and rubber pedals. This craft is exceptionally forgiving, with light control forces, making it an ideal choice for beginners. - No minimum age, however participants must be able to reach the controls

- Maximum weight limit for the fixed wing is 14 stone/ 88.90 kg, and 17 stone 107.95 kg for the flex wing
- Available weekdays and weekends throughout the year
