UK's Most Popular Dates For Couples Revealed

The most popular way for loved up Brits to spend a date together is by sipping a cup of tea.

This is according to one of the UK's leading experience providers – Experiences.co.uk – which has revealed its most booked Gift Ideas for Couples.

And it appears the nation's love of a cuppa is the way that starry-eyed lovers want to exchange romantic glances as traditional afternoon tea is the most popular experience for two by a long way.

It actually takes more than one-in-four bookings compared to all the other experiences for couples in the top ten.

Imran Malek, Corporate Sales Manager at Experiences.co.uk, said: "Enjoying a nice cup of tea is well-known for its soothing effect, so perhaps it's no surprise it takes the top spot as couples look to relax together."

In contrast, the second and third most popular 'dates' offer much more thrills, respectively being a bird of prey experience and fighter jet simulator combat experience.

Experiences.co.uk has also seen a recent surge in overall bookings for gifts for couples, rising by 22% compared to the previous six months.

Imran added: "Whether it's spending some tranquil time together, or spicing it up by making it more adventurous, Brits are choosing novel ways to show their love for each other."
