Team Experiences' Fantasy Festival Lineups

Festival season has well and truly begun this month. Isle of Wight Festival is this coming weekend, but arguably the daddy of them all, Glastonbury, is but a week away from kicking off at Worthy Farm in Somerset, in what will be its last in the current cycle before its traditional fallow break next year.

And it promises to be one of its biggest editions to date, with the varied likes of The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo set to headline the Pyramid stage, whilst everyone from The Prodigy and Charli xcx, to Loyle Carner and Scissor Sisters are due to grace the wealth of additional stages that has become synonymous with Glasto.

It's got us talking amongst ourselves in-house about our dream roll calls for our own festivals. So, we've each assembled our fantasy festival lineup, and each given them a name, with no limits on artists dead or alive. And, just for a bit of fun, we're putting it to you to decide who's picked the best day out via our social media channels…

Alex MacGregor, Senior Creative Content Writer: Solstice Fest

11:00am - 12:00pm: Nerina Pallot

An incredible Jersey born singer-songwriter, best known for her 2006 hits "Everybody's Gone To War" and "Sophia", but whose beguiling piano led sound has to be heard to be believed.

12:30 - 13:30pm: Maddox Jones

Hailing from Northampton, he just self-released his debut album, Waiting For The World To Turn, last year. Folk indebted pop rock and a definite talent to watch out for in the future.

13:45 - 14:45pm: Lightning Seeds

Led by one of the country's most gifted songwriters, Ian Broudie, they've not long celebrated their 35th anniversary, and have an enviable back catalogue (that song about football coming home included) that's guaranteed to get the crowd going.

15:00 - 16:00pm: Kylie Minogue

Every festival should have a good icon, sandwiched in that middle point of the day when everyone's energy needs a boost, full of fail safe, solid gold anthems that all generations recognise. With a career that now stretches into its fifth decade thanks to her recent "Padam Padam" renaissance, no one but Kylie would be better for this slot.

16:30 - 17:30pm: The Streets

Not only an urban poet and genius wordsmith - see "Dry Your Eyes", "Let's Push Things Forward", "Fit But You Know It", "Has It Come To This?" - but as he proved at last year's Glasto, renowned crowd surfer Mike Skinner also does crowd control better than a nervous supply teacher with a rowdy class of Year 7s.

18:00 - 19:00pm: Craig David

The ideal golden hour choice, with a career stretching back to the glory days of UK garage, Craig not only is a phenomenal singer and performer, but he also incorporates his TS5 DJ set into his slot, which brings all the old school bangers and will make it feel like Ibiza or Ayia Napa, even in a field in England.

19:30 - 20:30pm: Sugababes

The original lineup that started their career back in 2000 of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy, have closed off both stages they have been on at Glasto due to demand for the last two times they've been there in 2022 and 2024. One listen to their immense catalogue of hits - and their scintillating new material - should offer all the confirmation as to why.

21:00 - 22:30pm: David Bowie

Although I sadly never got the opportunity to see him live during his lifetime, the first chameleon of rock and roll never shied away from moving with the times and experimenting with both his sound and image. The word "icon" gets used so much in this day and age, but for Bowie, it absolutely applies and he would be the perfect headliner.

Beth Webb, Creative Content Writer: Horizon Pulse

11:00 – 12:00: Post Malone

Ease into the festival day with the effortlessly cool vibes of Post Malone. Known for his introspective lyrics and unique blend of hip-hop, rock, and pop, Posty's set is the perfect way to start. Expect emotional ballads like "I Fall Apart," crowd-pleasers like "Sunflower," and a charismatic stage presence that deeply connects with fans. Don't be surprised if he cracks a beer mid-song — classic Post Malone energy.

12:30 – 13:30: Dizzee Rascal

Bring the energy up with one of the UK's most iconic grime pioneers. Dizzee Rascal hits the stage with rapid-fire bars, gritty beats, and pure London attitude. This set will be packed with hits like Holiday and Dance Wiv Me, plus deep cuts that nod to his Mercury Prize-winning debut Boy in da Corner. If you're looking for big drops, fast flows, and a mosh pit or two, this is it.

13:45 - 14:45: Kasabian

Strap in for a swaggering, high-energy ride with Kasabian, masters of the modern Brit-rock scene. Their set is made for festivals: loud, confident, and dripping with anthems. Expect a sea of raised fists during Empire and Underdog, and prepare for the inevitable mass sing-along when LSF kicks in. With a reputation for incendiary live shows, they'll have the field bouncing from start to finish.

15:00 - 16:00: Maroon 5

Globally adored and radio royalty, Maroon 5 brings a sleek and feel-good set filled with catchy hooks and polished performances. Adam Levine's instantly recognisable vocals glide through chart-toppers like Payphone, This Love, and Animals. Whether you're here to dance, sway, or sing every word, this is a crowd-friendly, universally loved hour of music to lift your afternoon.

16:30 - 17:30: Coldplay

Prepare for a spine-tingling, emotionally charged experience as Coldplay deliver their signature mix of powerful songwriting, dazzling visuals, and stadium-sized moments. Expect LED wristbands, rainbow confetti, and soaring anthems like Fix You, Paradise, and A Sky Full of Stars. It's not just a gig, it's a complete sensory journey through joy, nostalgia, and unity.

18:00 - 19:00: Eminem – Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg

A landmark event in festival history. Three legends of hip-hop unite for a unique showcase. Eminem delivers precise lyrics and unmatched intensity; Dr. Dre, the acclaimed producer known for his ground-breaking beats; and Snoop Dogg, the relaxed icon exuding endless charm. From 'The Real Slim Shady' to 'Still D.R.E.' and 'Drop It Like It's Hot,' this is beyond a performance; it's a tribute to rap royalty.

19:30 - 20:30: Pendulum

Things are about to get heavy. Pendulum's live show is a full-on assault of drum and bass fused with rock riffs, synths, and sheer sonic force. With tracks like Witchcraft, Watercolour, and Propane Nightmares, their genre-defying sound will ignite the crowd into a frenzy. Expect strobe-heavy visuals, wall-rattling drops, and an hour that feels more like a rollercoaster than a set.

21:00 - 22:30: Chase and Status

Close out the night with a full-on sonic explosion. Chase and Status bring a relentless mix of jungle, drum and bass, dubstep, and grime, blended seamlessly into a high-impact live and DJ hybrid show. Known for collaborations with artists such as Kano, Plan B, and Rage, their sets are as raw as they are electrifying. Expect bone-rattling basslines, live vocal features, insane visuals, and a crowd that just won't stop moving.

Lucy Jobson, Creative Content Writer: brat Music Festival

11:00am - 12:00pm: The Dare

A solid choice to kick things off - lowkey, but with a vibe that sets the tone for an all-day party (which, let's be real, is what this festival is). Dare - aka Harrison Patrick Smith - has that perfect chill yet danceable sound, easing you into the day. Best known for his single "Girls" (released August 2022), and for producing the epic track "Guess" by Charli XCX from her Brat album, his beats are subtle but sharp. You won't even realise it, but you'll be hooked from the start.

12:30pm - 1:30pm: INJI

INJI (Inci Gürün) is here to bring a little extra flavour to the mix, blending Turkish influences with a fearless, experimental edge. Expect heavy basslines and fierce vocals as she seamlessly transitions between moments of serene depth and full-throttle energy. Her music constantly evolves, never afraid to experiment and push boundaries. She's a mood, and you'll want to keep up.

1:45pm - 2:45pm: Madonna

Every festival needs an icon, and Madonna is the icon. Situated at that sweet spot where everyone's energy could use a boost, she comes through with a setlist packed with absolute anthems. From the throwbacks to the dance-floor fillers, she's got something for every generation. Everyone knows and loves her hits, and let's face it: It's not a party without a little bit of Madonna magic. Time to get your body moving.

3:00pm - 4:00pm: Azealia Banks

Okay, here's where the party officially kicks into high gear. Lace up your shoes and get ready to dance your face off. Azealia Banks doesn't just walk onto the stage - she owns it. Known for her razor-sharp raps and genre-bending sound, Azealia has consistently defied expectations and delivered some of the boldest, boundary-pushing tracks in the game. Whether you're a die-hard fan or a newcomer, she's about to bring the heat.

4:30pm - 5:30pm: Lorde

Now, let's shift things a bit with a vibe that's slower but no less electrifying. Lorde is the queen of cool, with her haunting, atmospheric music that still makes you want to dance. She's got that signature blend of melancholy and edge, pulling you into a space where you can both reflect and vibe. Her sound is timeless, and she'll hit you with those crowd-pleasers that everyone knows and loves.

6:00pm - 7:00pm: Addison Rae

Golden hour just got a whole lot better. Addison Rae is stepping into the spotlight with her recently dropped album, and wow, it's so good. Released on June 6th, it's got that perfect balance of soft, almost dreamlike melodies and edgy beats that stick with you. Think Lorde meets Troye Sivan, but with a touch more sparkle and sass. She's not just TikTok fame - she's a true pop star in the making. Trust me, you'll have the whole crowd singing along before you even realise it.

7:30pm - 8:30pm: Troye Sivan

And now, let's talk about one of the most defining voices of this generation - Troye Sivan. This is the moment where it gets personal for me, having followed Troye since his YouTube days. From those first challenges to his debut album, he's been evolving non-stop, and each release hits harder than the last. If you're not already vibing to 'One of Your Girls', it's time to catch up. Not just a pop star, but a true artist, Troye's music is as deep as it is catchy.

9:00pm - 10:30pm: Charli xcx

Alright, you know what time it is - Charli xcx time. The sound of 2024's brat summer that hasn't slowed down one bit, Brat isn't just an album - it's an era. Charli has redefined what pop music can be, blending futuristic beats with a punk attitude. She's been the voice of a generation, and her influence is undeniable. From the internet to global stages, she's been rewriting the rules of pop for years. Brat is a whole vibe, a game-changer, and Charli herself? Truly iconic. By the end of her set, if you're not shouting her lyrics and living your best bratty life, what are you even doing?
