New Packages Set To Feed Brits Appetite For Staycation Dining

A range of food and drink experiences has been unveiled on our newly launched website, Experiences.co.uk, to cater to Brits' hunger for culinary delights. Fine Dining, Wine Tasting, and Cookery Lessons are among the new packages launched, which hope to tap into the huge demand from what they describe as a 'nation of foodies.'

Indeed, according to a new report released by the national tourism board, Visit England, 'trying local food and drink' was ranked as the top answer when 1,500 survey respondents were asked which activities they are most likely to do on their next domestic short break or holiday.

Trying local food and drinks ranked ahead of the next most popular activities, which were walking or hiking, visiting heritage sites, and exploring scenic areas by car.

Dan Jones, operations manager at Experiences.co.uk, commented: "Britain is a nation of foodies, and yet it's a commonly held misconception that the UK has very little when it comes to food, but we disagree."
