About the experience

Enjoy a peaceful experience Fly Fishing along the Ladybower Reservoir in the heart of Derbyshire with this introductory session. Situated along the largest of the three lakes in the Derwent Valley, not only will you delight in catching Rainbow and Blue trout, but witness the beautiful scenery all around. It’s easy to whittle away a few hours as you dip the fishing rod into the waters and spy little groups of fish swimming beneath you whilst being surrounded by some of the best nature this country has to offer. Throughout the session you will be accompanied by David Johnson and his team who are a down to earth and friendly bunch passionate about making fishing fun and accessible. It’s safe to say you will be in the best hands if this is your first time Fly Fishing as you will be guided throughout the experience. The hours will fly by as you experience the thrill and challenge of catching a fish - after all it’s far harder than it ever looks. Being in such a picturesque location will no doubt increase your appreciation for nature, but leave you feeling relaxed and fulfilled.
