About the experience
If you're interested in learning floristry, you can participate in an online course hosted by Paula Pryke OBE. Paula is a renowned florist who has been honoured by the Queen for her contribution to modern floral design in the UK. She has prepared a variety of online content for those who are enthusiastic about arranging flowers. The floristry basics will be covered in four video workshops. You will learn how to choose the best blooms, how to combine florals with foliage, and how to extend the life of your flowers. You will also learn a lot of secrets from professional florists, such as using chicken wire and agra wool, and how to wrap flowers for delivery and choose the right containers. To complete the practical workshop part of the course, you will need some flowers. You can get them from your local market, florist, or even from your own garden. As long as you have the blooms, expert Paula will help you work your floristry magic.

Equipment Requirements
- For this course you will need some flowers and foliage. This could be from a florist, markets, or your own garden
- You will also need ribbons, cellophane (optional), containers and vases, sharp scissors, bindwire, a small knife, floral foam (Paula recommends an environmentally friendly alternative such as agra-wool), chicken wire, and floral tape (optional)
