15 Minute Tiger Moth Flight in Kent
About the experience
Step into the shoes of history with this Vintage 1930s Tiger Moth flight over the beautiful Kent countryside. If you fancy yourself as a bit of a history buff or simply want to try something new, it’s safe to say this good old fashioned flight will have universal appeal, regardless of previous flying experience. You’ll feel right at home inside a Tiger Moth, whether you fly in the older of the two, the G-ANMO which was first built for the RAF in 1934, or the G-PWBE which was built in 1959. Either way, each plane brings with it a sense of twentieth history as you grace the skies over Kent and possibly catch a glimpse of Leeds Castle in the distance. This is an additional treat for flyers who love their history, as this castle dates back to 857 and is part of a Grade 1 listed estate that looks particularly stunning from the air. If the impressive views weren’t enough, you will also have the opportunity to pilot this plane and take the controls should you be feeling adventurous. Both of these Tiger Moth planes come with dual control and an expert pilot on hand to show you the ropes. With incredible views promised over the Kent countryside, combined with a real sense of the history of the last century, this experience will be perfect for a history enthusiast who has always wanted to take to the skies.
